🎓 NC Opportunity Scholarship – 2026–2027 School Year 🎓

The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship (OS) expands school choice for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade by providing $3,360 up to $7,468 per year toward tuition for eligible students attending a participating nonpublic school—such as St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School.

✨ Good news! For the 2026–2027 school year, the Opportunity Scholarship is open to ALL families, regardless of zip code or income.

📅 February 6, 2026
Applications officially open. ➡️ Families who apply early receive higher priority in the lottery process.

📅 March 6, 2026
Deadline for priority consideration. ➡️ Applications submitted after this date will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis.

📬 Early–Mid April 2026
Award notifications will be sent.

💡 Why apply early? Each year, additional scholarship funds may become available. Families already in the system and those who apply early have a greater chance of receiving tuition assistance.
