SchoolSpeak's Report Card Center

SchoolSpeak has scheduled a number of report card seminars for the fall. Whether you are a new SchoolSpeak Admin or you would like to review the process, we invite you to join us! To sign up, click here. If those times are not convenient, please contact us and we can setup an appointment.

The Report Card Resource Center has been created with the SchoolSpeak Administrator in mind. From quick information sheets to videos, you can find helpful resources to support you and your teachers.

Support Tip! Always check the dates of your previewed report! The previewed report date should be close to the date/time that you plan to publish or print your report card. Consider clicking Preview from Manage Report Cards to ensure you have the most updated report card data.

Preparing for the report card process
Whether you are new to SchoolSpeak or a you have been using SchoolSpeak for a couple of years preparing for the report card process is simple. We have provided some helpful documents that will walk you through the steps to prepare your school for the report card process.
Note- The checklists are not a detailed explanation of the report card process, they are meant to help quickly navigate the preview process.

Checking the Report Card Template
The best time to check the template is before the teachers begin to work on them. We suggest running a quick preview to make sure that the report card is correctly configured. Click here to view our Quick Preview Checklist.

Verifying Subjects and Grades
The second step in preparing for report cards is to verify that the links from the report card to the GradeBooks are correct. This step will look at the students listed in the report card, the subjects listed and verify that the grades were updated. Click here to view the Verifying Subjects and Grade Checklist

Sample Time Line
In Support, we often speak about a time line when working through the report card process. Here is a sample timeline for you to view. It includes using the Close/Lock functionality of gradebooks and report cards. Click to open the Sample Time line.
