One aspect we liked the best about SchoolSpeak is the ability to customize the pages to fit the needs of our community. Through the group management system I was able to give the various groups permission to do their own work, train some key parent volunteers and they too were excited and began creating their own content. Quick and the willingness to work on the specific needs that arise during the year is just another reason we have gone back to SchoolSpeak year after year.

By 'going green', the school has saved money and time. The training and availability of tech support team has been excellent. Previously our school used another company for our online communication. In my experience as office manager, I feel SchoolSpeak has proved to be a good change because it is user - friendly, flexible, has great tech support and better meets our needs.

When some additional program is added, they inform us right away. There are so many things that we can add next year to what we are doing this year. I would recommend SchoolSpeak to any school looking for a web-based program.

School Speak has provided our school with 2 years of service at 100% reliability. Parents, grandparents, and guardians are happy with the timely posting of grades, schedules and announcements. The age old complaint of the ‘lost report card, newsletter, basketball schedule…’ has gone the way of the dinosaur! School Speak also responds in a timely manner to E-rate proposals and contracts. It is an improvement over the 2 previous sites that we employed. It was worth the investment and has cut operating costs by reducing paper and toner usage.

School Speak has become a valuable learning tool for my son. We look at his grades together several times a week. I’m able to praise him for his good grades and we talk about the assignments he had trouble with. He achieved straight A’s for the first time last quarter by monitoring his scores and setting goals for himself.

As our school was undergoing the accreditation process, we needed to collect newsletters and documentation of events from the past five years. In years past, we had to contact various people in order to obtain all of the documentation that we needed. However, now with Schoolspeak, our jobs became much easier. With the helpful archives and the frequent use of Schoolspeak by all groups at the school, we did not have to hunt down paper copies. Instead we were able to provide the accreditation team with a “one stop shop” where they could see all of the events, newsletters, volunteer hours, etc. Schoolspeak make our accreditation process much smoother.
