I did not want to change our school's software, but our Administrator wanted an online system to connect better with our students and parents. SchoolSpeak turned this "old dog wanting no new tricks" into an online, up to date, better than ever user and system administrator! We have used SchoolSpeak for three years and it has been a great time saver for our office staff. Instead of distributing paper newsletters by hand or by mail we now drop our newsletter onto the portal and we are done. As an administrator I really like the gradebook and report card options. I am able to check on students past report cards, current grades and attendance in a matter of seconds.

SchoolSpeak has been instrumental in helping us communicate with our parents. It lets us publish all important information: Thursday blasts, calendars, grades, class and school emails, homework, and much more. It has allowed us to go green by posting forms on line instead of printing out copies and sending them home. Given my 31 years in education, I HIGHLY recommend SchoolSpeak!

As a school secretary, I am expected to come up with accurate records from class lists, attendance, health information, student labels, census figures etc. as if it was needed yesterday. School Speak makes me look good, by having the ability to up-date my data easily, generate reports at every teacher's whim, and enables me to be the organized go-to-person a successful school secretary has to be! (And I get to take all the credit....thank you School Speak)
