Upcoming Volunteers Opportunities

Hello SCS Parents,
 
There are several events from now through the end of the school year where where parent volunteers will be needed. More details (information and sign ups) will be posted and emailed as they are finalized. This is a list with dates and approximate times for your planning purposes.
  • Camp Flintlock - Monday, March 4 (grades K-8). Click for more information and sign up: Camp Flintlock
  • St. Joseph Altar - Tuesday, March 19 (grades PreK-8 generally lunch hours 11 am - 1:30 pm)
  • Pizza Lunch and Bake Sale - Friday, March 22, Friday, and April 26 (grades K-8 generally lunch hours 11 am - 1:30 pm)
  • 8th Grade Diocesan Mass at the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral - Tuesday, April 30 at 11 am (8th grade only, parents will be asked to drive)
  • Field Day - Wednesday, May 22 (all day, grades K-8, no delayed arrival, early dismissal of 1:30 pm)
For most volunteering, parents should have their Safe Environment Training. This is offered through the Diocese of Raleigh. The next session is Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 7:00 pm and is virtual. For parents who have taken this training, please forward your certificate to Catherine Langlois at clanglois@scswf.org, if you have not already done so.
