This video covers a few important points such as why teachers need to finalize the grade information in the gradebook, the need to preview the report card before publishing, etc.

The Report Card link in the left-margin takes you to the Report Card page that displays all the sections of the report card.
Click on the View/Edit links of the respective section to view or edit the details..

Overview of K-3 Grades Report Card and working with the K-3 Grades Report Card

This video covers the basic components of report card such as Subjects with corresponding grades of achievement, effort, and conduct, Attendance details, Grading codes sections describing the meaning of each numbers and codes used for grading and Characteristics of a successful learner details that come either from the report card or from the term summary section of the gradebook.

The achievement grades and standard grade scores are pulled from the gradebook.
You can enterthe effort grade details either directly in the report card or in the respective gradebook.
Teachers and school administrators can change the automatically calculated scores of the report card if the school policy permits. As administrator, you can also lock the gradebook using the Manage Gradebook functionality.
Select the required report card on the Report Card page to view/edit grade details for each subject.

You can generate a preview in the exact format of the diocese and print or publish as appropriate and let parents print and view and sign the report cards online.

Overview of the 4-8 Grades Report Card and working with the 4-8 Grades Report Card

The video briefs GPA and different grades for subjects.

  • GPA and various key codes section describing the meaning of codes used in grade marking.
  • Subject sections with respective
    • Achievement grade which is directly pulled from the gradebook.
    • Effort grade, Conduct grade, and Characteristics of a successful learner (Areas of strength/Areas that need improvement) comments which you can enter either directly in the report card or in the summary field of the respective gradebook.
Teachers and school administrators can override the calculated scores in the report card if the school policy permits.

Customizing the Report Card

This video explains you about setting the configuration details based on the individual homeroom/teacher’s preferences.

You can modify the followings on the Settings page for both K-3 and 4-8 report cards

  • Modify the name of principal/teacher, displaying GPA and standards, school year and other settings and configuration details using the Configure this template button on the Report Card page.
  • Enable/disable pop-up windows by checking/unchecking the Enable Popup option using Enable/Disable fields button on the Report Card page.
