Preparing for the new school year

Overview of the process – Steps 1 & 2

This video will give you an overview of starting the new school year process by using the Admin tool, Prepare for new school year. This video also briefs you about the default archive and purge policy and circumstances that mandate the modification to the default policy done in step 1 in order to continue with step 2 where a list of resources are archived and purged.

Overview of the process – Steps 3 & 4

This video will take you through the general process followed for disabling/deleting the graduating students; promoting students and staff; disabling login access and removing members and families from groups.

Moving students and marking the process as complete

This video will sketch you the steps followed in transferring students using different tools such as Student Transfer, Batch Group Transfer used in SchoolSpeak. This video presents you with different and opt scenarios for using these tools, Student Transfer and Batch Group Transfer for transferring students from one group to another.
