Mrs. Carol Alexander
Has been teaching Preschool with the Toledo Catholic Diocese since August of 1998. The last 16 years have been at St. Pius. I started this program in 1998 at St. Agnes School in Toledo, Ohio and brought it to St. Pius in 2006. "I went into Early Childhood Education because I love working with children, especially young children. I want to make a difference in my students lives and give them a solid educational foundation".
I grew up in Toledo Ohio and attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and Central Catholic High School and went on to college to study Early Childhood Education. My husband, Steve and I have been married for 33 years and we have two sons, Corey, and Kevin
. My son Kevin married his wife Bailee in 2018, so I now have a wonderful daughter as well through marriage. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends and grand puppies, read, walk and vacation near any warm beach. I feel blessed to have a job that

Mrs. Kelly Lajiness:
Mrs. Kelly Lajiness has been with the Preschool program as an assistant since 2012. She recently obtained her teaching license and will be co-teaching with me. I am so excited to have Kelly as a co-teacher.
She is a very caring, creative and a wonderful person. Kelly has been a parishioner at St. Pius for many years and she has two children that attended St. Pius X School, Alexa and Cooper.
